The Melody

I've always liked to think of our world as one big piece of music. It started at the very beginning, with a graceful orchestra encompassing all the stars and the planets.

It was a beautiful sound. But it didn't last. With humankind came dissonance. We messed up the melody of the universe, choosing instead to go against the very thing that united us to everything. 

And so it goes. Some choose to have their melody be with that of nature and everything else. And some choose to create dissonance and chaos. 

But someday, perhaps soon, all will be right again. We will fall into harmony. Until then, we can, with our melody, choose to make the world a more beautiful place.
